Write your urgent list before the first cold night

Cold nights bring after-hours calls, and Nora works by the rules you set, so write down what counts as urgent first.

The first cold night is coming. A furnace quits at 10 PM. A customer calls your business line while you are on a job or off for the night.

With Nora, you decide what happens next. You set the hours she answers. You choose which jobs she books and which get a callback. You decide what counts as urgent in your summary.

Write your list now

Before winter, sit down and write your own urgent list. Keep it short. For example, a one-truck HVAC owner might sort calls like this:

  • No heat at night: marked urgent in your summary.
  • Routine tune-up request: a callback, or a slot on your calendar inside your rules.

You also set the calendar rules: which slots, which days off. Every after-hours call ends with a summary text that includes the name, number, address, problem, and booked time.

Emergency transfer is available on request. Ask us about it when you bring your list.

You can change any rule by telling us. Your list can change as the season does.
